Incubate IP Founder Joins Adjunct Faculty at Chicago-Kent College of Law

Glen Ellyn, IL – Randy Micheletti, founder of Incubate IP, has joined the adjunct faculty of Chicago-Kent College of Law (Illinois Institute of Technology). This fall semester, Randy will teach “Oral Advocacy for the IP Lawyer,” an upper-level course focused on developing practical trademark and patent skills in a variety of contexts such as patent examination, trademark appeals, patent appeals, district court litigation, and appellate court litigation. Randy will share teaching duties for this course with attorney Dave Gosse of Fitch Even Tabin & Flaherty.

Randy has represented technology clients large and small for nearly a decade and has been licensed to practice before the US Patent & Trademark Office since 2003. He is passionate about startups and works tirelessly to build IP portfolios that form core assets for young and growing companies. He also teaches upper-level courses at Chicago-Kent College of Law as a member of the law school’s adjunct faculty. Randy gained his Juris Doctor degree from the same college in 2009, along with membership to the Order of the Coif honor society as one of the top 10 percent of law graduates in his class. Prior to this, he studied his B.A. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry; and now specializes in pharmaceutical and chemical patents as well as intellectual property licensing. An avid trumpet player, Randy regularly performs with various musical groups around the Chicago area in his spare time.
